Lee Gundersheimer

Director, Actor, Playwright, Producer, Educator

Lee has worked all over the country but for many years was based in New York City. He now resides in Winona, MN and freelances all over. 
Memorable projects include:
 
performing with Sally Field in The Rainmaker before he was twenty
 
directing and performing with Deb Margolin (and a then just starting out Chad Boseman) off-Broadway in her play Three Seconds in the Key
 
directing his play Incommunicado, nominated for four Audelco Awards and opening the New Federal Theatre Season off-Broadway
winning Best Play for Pas De Deux in the New Play Festival on Theatre Row in NYC.
building two theatres in New York City: his first with Hilary Six called Avalon Rep and his second, the off-Broadway Century Center for the Performing Arts, which presented two Pulitzer Prize winners- How I Learned to Drive and Three Tall Women.
